The ACPN is a minimal invasive technique, useful in treatment of soft disc hernia, which is not associated to spondyloarthrosic pathology , rachiestenosis or segmentary instability.
The technique carried out is very simple.
Bad results don´t forbide open surgery after this technique.
The technique can be made in an out-patient regime.
80% of good results justifies the qualities of this surgery. We also think that rigorous selection of patients according to recomendations shown, could increase good results to 90%.
We consider anulotomy made during technique is as good as the aspiration of the nucleus, because of the low intradisc pressure obtained during the anulotomy procedure.
